Dapol has received decorated samples of its forthcoming newly-tooled ‘O’ gauge HEA and HBA coal hoppers for review by the company’s development team.
Seven models are planned in the first production run including HEA 360104 in Railfreight red and grey (Cat No. 7F-047-001), HBA 360114 in BR freight brown (7F-047-003), HEA 360354 in EWS maroon (7F-047-004), HEA 360292 in BR freight brown (7F-047-005), HEA 360620 in Mainline blue (7F-047-006), HEA 360208 in Transrail grey (7F-047-007) and HBA 360626 in BR freight brown (7F-047-008).
These all-new models will feature a compensated die-cast chassis, profiled wheels and axles, brass bearings, sprung metal buffers and separately fitted detailing.
Priced at £55 each, a release date has yet to be confirmed.
