A new range of exclusive modular platform kits have been created by PJM Models exclusively for Key Publishing to allow modellers to replicate straight platforms and a branch line terminus in the first wave of releases.
The new kits cater for 90mm wide straight platforms which are 17mm tall to be positioned on cork next to ‘OO’ gauge tracks. The straight sections are in 450mm long lengths with a choice of single and triple packs while there are also separate packs of ramps and a terminus station section.
Each pack includes gauges to set the position of the PJM Models platforms against the track with the straight kits coming with a scale 90mm gauge to suit ‘OO’ gauge track. An optional 94mm gauge to allow for additional overhang where a crossover is set between platforms is included with the terminus station section.
The kits are entirely laser-cut with choice of two designs available in the first releases. These cover double layer block edging to fit below the platform surface and triple layer brick edging to fit below the platform surface.
All versions are in stock now exclusively through Key Publishing’s Key Model World Shop with prices set at £10.99 for a 450mm single straight, £29.99 for a triple pack of 450mm long straights (total length 1,350mm), £7.99 for a twin pack of ramps and £10.99 for the terminus section.
