Revolution KUA nuclear flasks break cover

Revolution Trains has received decorated samples of its forthcoming ‘N’ gauge KUA nuclear flask wagons.

Built in the late 1990s, two of these colossal 150tonne vehicles are in service with the Ministry of Defence (MOD), mainly conveying spent fuel from Royal Navy nuclear submarines.

Revolution Trains is offering the pair (MODA95770/MODA95771) in a twin-pack with each wagon representing their respective prototype with accurate TOPs panels, data markings, lettering and hazard warnings. In addition, wheel numbers and profile data on each bogie have also been individually printed.

Early-bird prices are set at £139.95 per twin-pack until the end of May, when the price will revert to £159.95. Production is now under way with delivery expected this summer.
