A total of 34 'A5s' were built by the GCR from 1911 for passenger services from London Marylebone with a further ten constructed by the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) following the 1923 Grouping. Withdrawals began in the 1960s with the last leaving service in 1960.

Eight versions are planned from Sonic Models, with 373 in GCR lined green (Cat No: S2104-01), 5167 in LNER GCR green (S2104-03), 5045 in LNER lined green (S2104-02) and 5024 in LNER lined black (S2104-04) forming the pre-nationalisation examples. British Railways liveried examples include 69804 (S2104-05) and 69827 (S2104-07) with early crests and 69820 (S2104-06) and 69814 (S2104-08) with late crests.
