Bachmann has revealed its British Railway Announcement plans for Autumn 2024 which include all-new ‘N’ gauge LNER ‘V2’ 2-6-2s, plus newly-tooled ‘OO’ gauge BR Class 08/09 diesel shunters (HM206) and Rail Express Systems (RES) Propelled Control Vehicles (PCVs).
BACHMANN BRANCHLINE
Leading the charge for ‘OO’ in the Bachmann Branchline range is an all-new collection of BR Class 08 and 09 diesel shunters. These have been produced from scratch and feature a die-cast metal chassis block, five-pole motor, flywheel, all-wheel pick-ups, PluX22 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, fully functional front and rear lights – with two, four or six lights according to the prototype being modelled, detailed cab interior, full-relief detailed underframes, separately-fitted metal grab handles, indscreen wipers, light conduits, sand boxes and sand pipes, lifting points and sprung metal buffers.
