Class 14

The Swindon Class 14 0-6-0DH fleet was built between 1964 and 1965 for light trip freight and shunting duties. In total 56 were completed and set to work on the Western Region, but they were soon out of work due to the rapidly changing face of the British Railway system. Part of the class was reallocated to Hull, but by the end of the 1960s all had been withdrawn and either sold to industry or scrapped.
