MARITIME PATROL VOLCANO
Developed under the codename ‘Hohentwiel’, an extinct volcano in south Germany, the FuG 200 radar was used on several Luftwaffe aircraft types as a maritime patrol system.
AIRPORT REFUELLER
Here’s another great idea from accessory and diorama specialist Plus Model – a 100 US gal fuel cart. Its thoroughness is evidenced by the inclusion of two thicknesses of wire for the axle and fuel lines, plus a photo-etched brass fret for handles and protective covers.
METAL STORAGE
This two-fret offering from Hauler provides for two pressed steel open-topped storage containers, with all components supplied as photo-etched (PE) brass items.
DRIEDECKER SUPPORT
Metal undercarriage components can give strength and rigidity to models, so these Scale Aircraft Conversions items, designed for Meng’s recent 1/32 Fokker Dr.I, will be a boon.
SWING-WING SPLENDOUR

While Italeri’s 1/72 Convair B-58 Hustler is surprisingly refined for its age (having first been released in 1984), the basic kit can be improved with this neat package from Eduard.
REALISTIC RUBBER
Hauler has produced this photoetched (PE) metal set to replace the integrally moulded representations of the rubber skirts on Tamiya’s recent 1/48 Japanese Ground Self-Defense Type 10 main battle tank.
TROPICAL VEGETATION

TAIL-DRAGGERS
The standard Mk.82 bomb can be prepared for low-level deployment as the High-Drag General Purpose variant by fitting the Mk.15 Snakeye tail unit: this opens into a cross shape for increased air resistance.

HEAVY METAL HAULER
