A new suite of 7mm:1ft narrow gauge models is here. MARK CHIVERS assesses these important initial releases.
Bachmann’s all-new ‘NG7’ 7mm narrow gauge range was first revealed during the Statfold Model Railway Exhibition at Statfold Country Park in April and subsequently as part of its Summer 2024 British Railway Announcements (see pages 10-13). The range initially comprises four ‘Quarry Hunslet’ 0-4-0ST locomotives, a selection of wagons and three ‘NG7’ buildings.
