Three of Hornby Magazine’s layouts will be attending the GBRf Gala Weekend at the Nene Valley Railway on September 7/8 2024 with a modern traction theme.

West Coast Cement in ’OO’ gauge will take centre stage set up as East Coast Cement to feature an extensive range of GBRf operated freight locomotives running alongside East Coast Main Line passenger favourites in LNER livery including Class 43 HSTs, Class 91s and more.
This 20ft x 10ft main line layout will be joined by Natford TMD in ‘OO’ gauge as well as our ‘TT:120’ layout Twelvemill Bridge – the latter featuring the latest diesel releases for the growing scale including HSTs and Class 50s.
Above: GBRf Class 60 60095 leads a biomass through along the main line on East Coast Cement. A full complement of GBRf motive power will be running on the layout at the September event.
