Britain’s fight with Argentina to liberate the Falkland Islands in 1982 is an enduring modelling subject, with much variety. There have been various books on the Falklands conflict, but they deal solely with the history and battles themselves. As far as I’m aware, Valiant Wings’ new book – The Falklands War – is the first publication of its kind to explore both history and modelling together (although some modelling magazines have previously catered for the subject to mark major anniversaries).
