Exclusive Rapido RCH wagon for Kernow

Kernow Model Rail Centre has commissioned Rapido Trains UK to produce an exclusive version of the ‘OO’ gauge RCH 1907 private owner wagon in the livery of Moger & Co. Ltd.

Coal merchant Joseph Moger operated out of the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway sidings at Crystal Palace. Wagon 232 was one of 20 12ton seven-plank wagons built by Charles Roberts in 1911 and was registered to the South Eastern & Chatham Railway with the lettering ‘L.B & S C Rly’.

Kernow Model Rail Centre's new RCH 1907 wagon uses the same tooling as the main range from Rapido Trains UK.

The exclusive model for Kernow Model Rail Centre uses the all-new ‘OO’ gauge Rapido Trains RCH 1907 private owner wagon tooling, with the model featuring angled brake hangers, double sided brakes, round bottomed grease axle boxes, smooth tapered buffers and split spoke wheels running in brass bearings.

Each wagon is priced at £32.95 and is available now.
